• all of their heart-felt conversations where arthur would share things with merlin that he shared with nobody else and always took his advise even if he never admitted to it
• the long looks they shared with each other where you could practically see sparks fly between them
• both arthur’s and merlin’s faces of panic and incessant worry when they thought something had happened to the other one
• “I’LL DRINK IT!”  ”AS IF I’D LET YOU.”
• their never ending adorable maried-couple-bickering
• when arthur would give up on his quests to make sure merlin was alright whenever he was hurt
• when merlin pulled down arthur’s pants with magic and they wrestled on the floor
• SHUT UP, MERLIN
• everytime arthur threw something at merlin’s head
• WHAT IS THAT SOUND???
• the fact that arthur was convinced that merlin lived at the local pub
• when arthur was able to take the sword out of the stone through merlin’s belief in him 
• 
• when uther died and merlin stayed up all night just because “I DIDN’T WANT YOU TO FEEL THAT YOU WERE ALONE”
• “Where are you wondering off to?” “I have to pee…so unless you want to come and watch me..” “Why would I want to watch you??”
• the fact that everytime that merlin was feeling upset or stressed about something, arthur noticed it inmediately and always wanted to make him talk about it and said things like “i haven’t seen you smile in the past 3 days”
• “You have a very good servant!” “You are right. I do. A servant who is extremely brave. And incredibly loyal, to be honest. Not at all cowardly.”
• merlin riding on arthur’s back when pretending to be an old man
